Job Description

Job DescriptionReporting to the creative team, the Copywriter is responsible for overseeing, producing, and ensuring the quality of the written content for our online platform. They will establish high quality written content for our e-commerce and marketing channels, in line with Empoweredlives vision and quality standards. The ideal candidate has extreme attention to detail, a deep understanding of effective commercial and business messaging, SEM, SEO, and marketing strategies, and strong collaboration and communication skills.Responsibilities

  • Write SEO-driven copy for blog posts, campaigns, e-mail marketing, on-site, etc.
  • Understand organic search trends to prioritize pages & content for search engine optimization.
  • Set and maintain strict standards of quality control to ensure content is consistent, accurate, and properly written or adapted
  • Continuous ongoing market research, SEO keyword/search terms, and analysis of complex trends, while maintaining an understanding of Roden Gray’s audience and clientele to create content that resonates
  • Maintain and enforce a rigorous schedule that meets deadlines, capacity, and quality targets
  • Partner with the creative team to think through the elaboration of content innovation ideas and workflow development initiatives, and execute them
  • Produce written work for different productions or projects as required
  • Stay up-to-date on language, vision, and help drive the brand forward
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Marketing, Journalism or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in English writing and adaptation
  • Mastery of English grammar, spelling, and usage including the ability to craft culturally-sensitive texts
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Thorough understanding of SEM, SEO, and content marketing strategies
Skills
  • Detail-oriented and versatile writer
  • Strong research skills
  • Ability to work effectively to meet tight deadlines
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and other applications
  • Knowledge of fashion, styles, and designers a must
