Job Description

Centennial Carstar Dartmouth is looking for an organized, motivated individual to join our team as Auto Body Production Manager!NOW HIRING: Auto Body Production ManagerLOCATION: Centennial Carstar Dartmouth, Dartmouth, NSHOURS: Full time, Permanent. 40+ hours per week.WAGES: Salary + Commission - $50,000 - $80,000/ year + benefits (negotiable based on experience)THE PERFECT FIT:You’re an organized, motivated, detail-oriented, punctual, and people-focused individual who loves working in a team setting. You have previous experience in a collision center and your mission is to always provide ultimate customer satisfaction in a growing company.APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Plan daily production schedule to maximize efficiency and maintain cycle time goals
  • Run production meeting to communicate priorities to staff
  • Perform in-process quality control checks to ensure company standards are met
  • Immediately identify and address any quality issues or production delays
  • Perform final quality inspection prior to delivery of the vehicle to customer
  • Extremely strong customer service and phone skills required
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and computer skills
  • Must be reliable and show initiative
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Applicant must be organized, capable of multitasking, prioritizing, working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Possess technical knowledge of auto body collision and mechanical repairs
  • Thorough knowledge of Mitchell and Audatex electronic imaging/ estimating systems is considered a strong asset but not necessary.
  • Previous production manager experience is not necessary but considered a strong asset. Additional training will be provided.
  • Ability to motivate staff to achieve common goals
  • Thorough knowledge of the collision repair process including quality standards
