We are seeking an experienced Automotive Repair Shop Manager to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in leading our team to facilitate the completion of work required to repair customer vehicles to the Chapman Auto Body standard. With your leadership skills and knowledge of the collision repair process, you will be accountable for meeting the collision centers annual financial performance goals.Our ideal candidate is:· Well organized, hard-working, self-motivated· Possesses excellent time management skills working within a fast-paced environment· Excellent written/verbal communication skills· Proven leadership skills, managerial experience considered an asset· Minimum of 2+ years in the automotive industry· Valid drivers license, drivers abstract· Experience with Mitchell and Audatex is requiredAs our shop manager your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:· Supervising technicians during repair process, and assisting estimators· Checking the quality-of-service repairs, ensuring Chapman Auto Body standards are being met· Ensure that all shop personnel, equipment, vehicles, and work areas always follow all safety policies and regulations· Ensure that all work is performed safely and, in a cost effective and timely manor· Reviewing all shop comebacks with appropriate technicians· Maintaining shop tools and equipment· Organizing shop floor and parking lot to ensure maximum efficiency and cleanliness· Properly training staff, and further skill development· Reviewing productivity and efficiency records of personnel· Approve all timecards daily· Write estimates and provide ongoing coaching to the estimators· Establish and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjustors· Manage professional relationships with suppliers, clients, and dealershipsCompensation based on qualifications and experience.
