Job Description

Dartmouth, NS, or Moncton, NBMOBIA is currently seeking a Bilingual Recruitment Specialist to join our Human Resources team, and a key resource helping to keep our office operations running smoothly. This opportunity can be based remotely in Moncton, NB or at our Head Office in Dartmouth, NS.MOBIA Technology Innovations is a Systems Integration company with multiple business unit areas: Broadband Wireless Services, Infrastructure Solutions, Cybersecurity, and Application and Data Services. Working with Service Providers, Government, Healthcare, and Enterprises across Canada, MOBIA has developed strategic business relationships with industry leading technology partners to help our customers achieve positive business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:This role will be responsible for efficient execution of the recruitment process for many of the new roles for MOBIA. If successful, you will:

  • Help to develop and update job descriptions and job specifications; aid in preparation of postings and advertisement of jobs to appropriate sources.
  • Find / attract full-time and contract-based candidates by multiple means, i.e. databases, social media, job fairs, etc.
  • Help to screen candidate resumes and job applications; assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, and aptitudes and provide feedback to MOBIA’s resourcing, HR, and management teams.
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable personnel selection methods/interview guides.
  • Interview new contacts gained through our Employee Referral Program and maintain database of referral candidates.
  • Ensure accuracy in preparing and promptly completing all required documentation / reporting
  • Translating and updating documents, policies and postings
  • Work with our HR Team as time allows:
  • Onboarding and orientation of new employees
  • Offer memos and contract amendments
  • File maintenance
  • Benefits administration
  • Other duties as required
Skills / Qualifications:
  • Fluently Bilingual in both English and French is required
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in Recruitment
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • RPR, PCP, CPHR, Benefits Administration are considered assets
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office suite
  • Previous experience recruiting in Telecommunications or IT is an asset
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is an asset
