Job Description

Bookkeeper – Atlantic Road Construction & PavingAtlantic Road Construction & Paving is a large heavy civil construction company specializing in heavy civil excavation and flatworks, pipeline placement, concrete placement and asphalt paving. We are hiring an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Dartmouth.Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years working as a bookkeeper
  • Experience using Sage 50
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • Able to process transactions accurately in large volumes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good work ethic and positive attitude
  • Education in Accounting/Bookkeeping considered an asset
Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with the day-to-day accounting cycle
  • Billing invoices
  • Posting transactions
  • Assisting payroll as needed
  • Other duties as required
