The Epidemiologist provides expert advice and leadership in epidemiology and surveillance and provides statistical and epidemiological analysis of public health and population health data to support health research, decision making, planning and policy development and administration. The Epidemiologist assists in the identification and evaluation of issues that threaten the health of Nova Scotians, and advances the epidemiological and surveillance decision support, information management and knowledge translation functions for the Public Health system.Qualifications
