Job Description

Job DescriptionPosition: General & Property AdministratorAs a member of a professional and growing real estate management company, you will be responsible to prioritize, coordinate, and organize business tasks with a positive, professional approach in planning, scheduling, communicating, and organizing the activities of your position. You must be able to develop an understanding of the nature of the corporate environment of a Property Management and Brokerage company in order to anticipate its needs. The day to day role is as follows but is not limited to: General duties will include but not be limited to:

  • General Administrative support to senior management in both property management and administration departments
  • Work with administration staff to monitor incoming calls/visitors/mail distribution/couriers and cover for lunch and vacations when needed
  • Assist with the coordination of the monthly property management reports to be sent to Property Owners, including review of Rent Rolls/Stacking Plans/MRI Rent Rolls for accuracy and compilation of reports into PDF final form
  • Front line tenant contact in dealing with a variety of tenant issues
  • Rent collection, arrears and tenant account reconciliations
  • Maintain tenant and contractor contacts
  • Detailed knowledge of the Angus Anywhere Software Program; assist in set up of new buildings
  • Work with MRI Accounting System to enter data or general information lookup
  • Administrate collection/filing/reporting on a timely basis of all Commercial Tenant Certificates of Insurance and Tenant Contact info for the Atlantic Provinces portfolio of managed properties
Experience required:
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office and Website Maintenance
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task with an eye for detail
  • Confident interpersonal communication skills, displaying initiative and problem solving abilities
  • Personable, pleasant demeanor
