You will be responsible for the coordination of a variety of staffing activities including, but not limited to, the development of job advertisements for internal and external processes, the coordination and scheduling of assessments such as exams and interviews, ongoing communication with candidates, development of employment offers and administrative management of staffing files.The HR team embraces agile innovative methods.   • Experience in providing general* administrative support services to clients**
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Experience reviewing information or documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • General administrative support services refers to activities that support the day-to-day operations of an organization. This typically includes (but is not limited to) managing and distributing information within the office, drafting internal and/or external communication, entering and tracking information in databases, responding to verbal and written enquiries, organization and management of meeting logistics, electronic information management, etc.

  • Successful completion of a post-secondary diploma in Office Administration or a similar program of study
  • Degree or Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution with a focus in Human Resources
  • Experience using a Human Resource Management System (HRMS) such as MyGCHR, beyond self-service.
  • Experience working in a Human Resources environment, specifically in staffing/recruitment
  • Experience using Mail Merge in MS Word
  • Experience using MS Excel at an advanced level*
  • An advanced level of experience may include: Converting a .TXT or .CSV file into MS Excel, using relative and absolute cell references, creating pivot tables, and using formulas such as ‘VLOOKUP’, ‘IF’ and ‘SUM’
