Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES of PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

  • Assist in inventory management - receiving shipments and putting away stock in an organized fashion
  • Operate juicing equipment
  • Safely handle food/ produce
  • Ensure juice is produced following daily production schedule & batching process
  • Double-check work for quality & accuracy
  • Set-up & tear-down to maintain clean & safe machinery & production room
  • Keep track of production yields & record information into daily batching logs
  • Bringing a positive attitude & good vibes to the team
  • Respond constructively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Assist in leading the team to success
  • Passion for learning, reliable and consistent
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong ability to communicate
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
  • Able to stand for extended periods while working
  • The ability to follow procedures and ensure consistency
  • Previous experience in a food operation or production
  • An eye for quality and attention to detail
  • Availability to work at all shifts and weekends
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The employee is required to work in an environment that is fast paced. Occasionally exposure to wet and/or humid conditions.PERKS:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evenings
  • Morning shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Dartmouth, NS B2Y 1H1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
  • Food handling: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Drivers license (preferred)
