Job Description

KITCHEN DESIGN SUPERVISORKent is the largest retail building supply chain in Atlantic Canada with 48 locations from Saint John, New Brunswick to Corner Brook, Newfoundland and many towns and cities in between. The Design supervisor will oversee 2-4 kitchen designers.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Onboarding and training kitchen designers
  • Managing all day-to-day activities within the central design office.
  • Reporting agreed upon metrics to the installed sales managers weekly and at period end
  • Designing and re-designing kitchens as part of their daily duties
  • Managing incoming designs and distributing the work to the design team.
  • Ensuring the quality and accuracy of all the designs and that the designs are returned to the salespeople within the approved time.
The design supervisor should have:
  • Experience leading a team in a high paced environment
  • Better than average computer skills
  • 20/20 kitchen software experience would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of the building industry
  • It would be considered an asset to have kitchen design and/or kitchen installation experience
