Atlantic Road Construction and Paving is looking for Grade Crew Lead Hand!Job Description : ARCP is currently looking for Grade Crew Lead Hand to join our growing team in the HRM area for the 2021 season!· We offer competitive wages starting at $20 an hour!· We have a respectful and friendly management team that will help you succeedDuties and Responsibilities: · Daily inspection of tools and equipment· Daily involvement in safety conscious activities such as tailgate meetings· Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all rules and regulations set forward by foremen· Placing and grading gravel for sidewalks, curbs and asphalt· Use of compaction equipment· Perform a large variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labour· Other various construction related activities as instructedRequirements: · Valid drivers licence and/or reliable transportation to and from the worksite· 5+ years experience in grading for asphalt and concrete· Experience operating a skid steer and excavator· Landscaping experience would be considered an asset· Ability to read grad stakes· Strong attention to detailWe would like to thank all of those that apply; however only those selected for an interview will be notifiedJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:
