Line cook – Hearthstone Inn DartmouthJob briefThe Hearthstone Inn & Reilleys Lounge is currently recruiting for a full time line cook. We offer very completive wages.Responsibilities· Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies· Prepare food for service· Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff· Answer, report and follow supervisors instructions· Clean up station and take care of leftover food· Stock inventory appropriately· Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion· Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards· Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersRequirements· Proven cooking experience working in a face paced environment· Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures· Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks· Familiar with industry’s best practices· Culinary school diploma would be considered an asset· Must be available to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekendsInterested candidates can forward resumes to the General Manager or drop off in person to the Hearthstone Inn – 388 highway 4 Port Hastings.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $15.00-$20.00 per hourSchedule:
