Faculty work as members of multidisciplinary teams within the Nova Scotia Health Mental Health and Addictions (CMHA) Program to provide general psychiatric services to patients primarily in the Central Zone and some specialized psychiatric services to patients across the province.ResponsibilitiesTo be attending or consultant physician to ambulatory patients in the CMHA Program.Conduct, order and ensure appropriate psychiatric assessments, appropriate psychosocial and laboratory investigations, and pharmacological & psychosocial interventions as per current standard practice.Take part in a psychiatry on-call schedule as required within the clinical program unless specifically exempted.Share in the short-term coverage of other services as needed during holidays or illness of other members of the department.Experience working within an interdisciplinary team to provide care and treatment for persons with moderate to severe psychiatric disorder.Clinical duties:
