Job Description

Do you have the ability to build strong vendor relationshipsAre you skilled at coordinating multiple projects and technicians to ensure objectives and deadlines are met Are you able to effectively analyze invoicing to ensure that our quoted discounts are applied to ordersWe are looking for a Materials Manager to effectively organize and manage our inventory and purchasing of materials.Responsibilities:
  • Negotiating with vendors pre-sale and post sale to ensure the quoted prices are respected.
  • Working with management and inventory to determine supply needs.
  • Recommending solutions to existing processes to reduce waste and increase quantity.
  • Record and assess all materials movement and expenditure.
  • Identify and label all inventory as it is received, assigning it to the specific projects.
  • Manage the distribution of supplies in the organization.
  • Monitor inventory levels and access to the materials.
  • Collaborate with management on current and upcoming projects to determine forecasting models.
  • Preparing and filing detailed records on procurement activity, quantity, and vendors.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Proven prior success in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
  • Outstanding communication.
  • Superior organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple ongoing projects.
