Reporting to the Manager of Outside Plant you will be an integral member of the project team who demonstrates and promotes our core values. Essential responsibilities include:· Working with outside plant RF equipment including testing and troubleshooting power supplies, nodes, amps, taps couplers etc.;· Reading and understanding coax and fiber designs;· Working at heights and confined spaces;· Operating a bucket truck and cable trailer;· Using lashing equipment and other linemen tools;· Placing underground or aerial infrastructure including strand, coax and fiber optic cable;· Working as part of a team or individually;· Performing other related duties as required.If you check the following boxes, we would love to hear from you: · Minimum 2 years of related experience working within Telecommunications or Outside Plant construction or combination of relevant education and experience;· Working knowledge of construction or telecom documents, drawings, specifications;· Strong knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to safety;· Great attitude and the ability to communicate clearly and collaboratively with clients and colleagues;· Capable of identifying issues and generating solutions in moderately complex situations;· Willingness to contribute actively in team discussions, sharing experiences and ideas;· Ability to work as part of a team or individually;· Willingness to work evenings and weekends on call occasionally and in all types of weather;· Ability to operate and maintain company vehicles safely, air brake endorsement may be required;· Successful completion of a criminal background check.If you think you think you are a great candidate to join our growing company, wed love to hear from you.Application deadline: 2021-11-21Expected start date: 2021-12-06Job Types: Full-time, PermanentAdditional pay:
