Purpose of PositionThe Research Coordinator is responsible for tracking and data management of various forms of market research and activity to assist with presentations and pitches. As well, the Research Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of service excellence to internal/external clients through the implementation of key marketing initiatives for the members of the Halifax Brokerage Services team.Summary of Essential Job Functions:· Gather data on market activity by observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from relevant sources and enter it into existing CRM+ database and/or relevant projects.· Preparation of regular market research reports.· Following Colliers standard processes, undertake the compilation, verification and publication of quarterly industrial and office statistics.· Assist in the compilation and creation of research resources to provide internal and external clients with accurate information and market analysis.· Monitor industry statistics and follow trends through report reading and current events and enhance/update current projects with this information.· Collaborate with Colliers Data Team to update data, and troubleshoot to ensure that market data meets standards· Actively participate in sales meetings and meetings of the National Research team.· Attend industry events in order to network and build relationships within the industry.· Other duties as required.Required Skills· Minimum of 1 year work experience in a business or office environment required. Experience commercial real estate is an asset.· Proficiency in MS Office Package. Experience with Adobe Indesign and CRM+ is an asset.· Experience in quantitative and quantitative analysis, along with strong writing and research skills.· Excellent customer service at all levels of the organization and with external partners.· Strong organizational, time management and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment.· High level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills.· Capability to find answers to even the most complex problems; Ability to think critically to question assumptions to get to the root of issues so our research is focused and our analysis is accurate.· Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.· Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment, while maintaining the ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, excellent product quality and attention to detail. High level of attention to detail is essential.· Demonstrate high level of passion and energy when taking on projects; must be driven.· Ability to think outside of the box and draw ideas and conclusions from collected data.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $40,000.00-$42,000.00 per yearBenefits:
