Job Description

Our facilities are in Dartmouth, NS, Moncton, NB, Mount Pearl, NL and Summerside, PE. We are honored to be a member of Canada Best Managed Companies.We are currently recruiting for Shipping Clerk in our Dartmouth, NS location.Key Responsibilities:

  • Record incoming products
  • Monitor inventory including inventory counts and cycle counts
  • Order or book out trailers from transport companies
  • Create bills of lading on a computerized system for shipments
  • Book for export shipments and arrange for pick-up and delivery of export containers
  • Prepare customs papers for export shipments
  • Assist Lead Hands with daily duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • High School diploma plus a one-year post-secondary program in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Experience in customer service, traffic, and logistics
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory collection, invoices, packing slips and bills of lading
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as excellent customer service orientation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment with little supervision
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
