Job Description

Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, Supply Chain Logistics to work directly for our client located in Dartmouth NS. If you have previous experience in a Logistics role, this position might be for you! Apply today!

  • Location: Dartmouth NS
  • Salary: $50k - $67k/year based on experience
  • Shifts: 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Assignment Type: Full Time | Permanent
Responsibilities:Procurement:
  • Negotiation with suppliers,
  • Identifying new potential suppliers,
  • Managing claims with suppliers,
  • Recording of all information in our ERP system,
  • Issuing Purchase Orders, reconciling PO/Invoices (ERP and supporting system),
  • Downloading invoices from suppliers websites and
  • Providing those invoices to the Finance Team in Spain.
Logistics:
  • Coordinating the logistics with our national and overseas suppliers.
  • Organizing with our customs agents the import taxes / documents support of shipments, organizing our logistic partners the shipments of all our overseas imports (usually maritime containers).
Warehouse:
  • Checking all goods bought from our suppliers are received.
  • Inventory Control.
Requirements
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • High School Diploma or Ged Equivalent
  • 2-5 years experience in similar role
  • Fluent in Spanish verbally & written an asset
  • Ability to Travel
