Job Description

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!OUR OPPORTUNITY: We are currently seeking an eager individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate operating out of our Dartmouth location. This position will work an estimated 35 - 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday.This position is permanent position.Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the main responsibilities will include:

  • Placing items onto conveyor system and/or into other packaging system
  • Counting quantity of items displayed on the order pick system
  • Conducting quality control checks on production
  • Confirming all orders are accurate and assembled free from defects in a neat presentation
  • Logging, addressing, and labeling all pieces for each customers order.
  • Ensuring all supplies needed (i.e. Labels, sheets to adhere labels to) are ready and available to perform duties
  • Using label gun to label product
  • Ensuring product for each customer is skidded and labeled properly
  • Keeping warehouse and workstations neat and organized
  • Having a general knowledge of industry standards, company policies, and procedures
  • At days end, ensuring equipment has been turned off, and work area is clean, organized and secured per company policy and procedure
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
  • Completion of high school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or combination of both
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Warehouse experience is an asset
  • No experience required, will not be operating company vehicles
