At Riverbend Co-op, we value Integrity, Community, Responsibility and, Integrity in everything we do!Riverbend Co-op invites applications for the position of Gas Bar Manager to lead our Gas bar team at our Gas Bar C-store location in Davidson, SKWe are seeking a hands-on individual who is committed to excellent service and is a self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic individual who will be involved in all aspects of Gas bar Management including: ordering, receiving, recruitment, training and development, performance management, and keeping safety as a top priority. The Davidson Gas Bar location offers full serve fuel, Cardlock and a full sized modern convenience store, and a strong customer membership base to service.What you’ll do:Demonstrate day to day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-op’s vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety.Provide prompt, personalized, Legendary Service to all our members and guests both in-store and over the phone.Ensure that all members and guests are completely satisfied with their experience.Proactively recruiting high-quality employees and lead orientation practices and ensure the administration of human resources policies to develop positive relationships with all employees.Help develop quality team training and succession plans.Develop the annual operating budget for the Davidson Gas Bar that supports the corporate goals.Provide direction and oversight to the Gas Bar team through coaching, mentoring and performance management.Grow current customer base, through implementing new programs, and overall customer experience.Ensure Gas Bar standards are met and upheldLead a culture of safety through the adherence to company standards for health & safety, loss prevention and environmental due diligence.Why it matters:Our Riverbend Co-op team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work that we do and annual sales of $71 million we help to build, fuel, feed and grow our communities together.Who you are:You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:Possess 1-3 years of experience in management in a retail environment, including supervisory experience.Retail experience in the areas of member relations, selling, OHS, ordering, receiving, and asset maintenance and management.A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organization.High level of integrity and accountabilitySound analytical thinking, planning, priorities, and execution skillsA well-defined sense of diplomacy, conflict resolution, and people management skills.Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays where necessary.Ability to fulfill physical job requirements including manual labour.Experience in retail sales especially in the CRS will be considered an assetStrong leadership skills that align with Riverbend’s values of Integrity, Community, Responsibility and Service.Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation, and teamworkAs one of the top 100 companies in Saskatchewan, Riverbend Co-op offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that includes extended health, dental, life insurance, long term disability, and pension, along with excellent training and opportunities for advancement.
