Our clients come from a wide range of industry sectors including aerospace, defense, marine, security, transportation, consumer products, gaming, medical, scientific, HVAC, telecom, material handling, and environmental industries.Our team of talented buyers are responsible for:· Providing prompt and accurate pricing and delivery lead time quotations to the CE3 internal team· Check material availability with MRP inventory system or from preferred vendors· Using standard industry resources to locate sources of information and parts· Obtain purchased items by sending purchase orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders· Participate in achieving aggressive cost reduction on purchased materials and services· Identify and select vendors using criteria such as quantity and quality of commodities, price, and delivery· Resolving all inquiries, issues, and technical part problems. Provide alternate solutions where applicable· Review existing suppliers and identify new alternatives for cost reductions and improved reliability in delivery time and qualityThe successful candidate will be a strong collaborator, have a well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.
