Job Description

Centennial Carstar Dieppe is looking for an organized, motivated individual to join our team as Collision Damage Appraiser!NOW HIRING: Collision Damage AppraiserLOCATION: Centennial Carstar Dieppe, Dieppe, NBHOURS: Full time, Permanent. 40 hours per week.WAGES: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour + potential bonuses (negotiable based on experience)THE PERFECT FIT:You’re an organized, motivated, detail-oriented, punctual, and people-focused individual who loves working with the public in a team setting. You have previous experience as an automotive appraiser, or experience in a similar field, and your mission is to always provide ultimate customer satisfaction in a growing company..APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extremely strong customer service and phone skills required
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and computer skills
  • Must be reliable and show initiative
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Applicant must be organized, capable of multitasking, prioritizing, working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Possess technical knowledge of auto body collision and mechanical repairs
  • Previous automotive appraiser experience is not necessary but considered a strong asset. Additional training will be provided.
  • Thorough knowledge of Mitchell and Audatex electronic imaging/ estimating systems is considered a strong asset but not necessary.
MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Complete appraisals and negotiate with insurance companies on proper repair methods and pricing
  • Submit supplement requests to appraisers for approval including photos, service invoices, parts invoices and supplement estimates.
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with insurance appraisers and adjusters
  • Handles customer concerns immediately and accordingly to shop procedures
