Job Description

Desktop Technician (1 year contract)The Mission of the RoleWe are seeking an IT professional to join our team as a Desktop Technician. You will report to the Regional IT Manager, Americas within the Global End-User Services team. Working with our wider global team this position will have responsibilities across multiple office locations and functions across the Americas region but will be primarily focused on our Canadian business.What You Will Do

  • While working for a truly global organization you will get to participate in the deployment of cutting-edge technology to enable our digitally literate customer base to fully realize their potential.
  • Provide second level technical support to our business partners (first level support is managed from our team in India)
  • Analyze, document, and escalate critical issues affecting our business partners
  • Participate in solution oriented regional and global initiatives
  • Ensure timely and appropriate responses to critical issues
  • Install and deliver end user hardware and ensure an excellent onboarding experience for our user community
  • Maintain and manage inventories on your sites
To Be Successful You Will Have
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience
  • A customer service mindset
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Not required, but would be an asset:
  • Experience with the following technologies: Windows 10, Microsoft 365, Microsoft SCCM, DHCP, DNS
  • A+ certification would be considered an asset
  • Bilingualism in English and French
  • Basic networking skills: wireless, switching, and remote access
