Job Description

We are looking to hire a Full-Time Houseperson at Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Dieppe, NB!BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, her/his designate and Manager on Duty.

  • Overall cleanliness of all public spaces and pool area with maintaining high level of sanitation.
  • Assistance with driving the shuttle to and from the airport is a requirement
  • Basic pool and spa maintenance
  • Assistance with guest on safety matters.
  • Follow procedures of the HIE standards for Housekeeping services.
  • Ensure that quality and cleanliness standards are being maintained.
  • Performs other duties as required.
SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of the operational policies and procedures of a hotel.
  • 1 year Janitorial experience preferred
  • WHIMS training or be trained within 30 days of hire.
  • Proven ability in customer service
  • Required to have or obtain First Aid and CPR Training within probation period
  • Able to work without supervision in a positive manner and work as an active team member
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of cleaning concepts and principles
  • Bilingual in both official languages is an asset
