Instructor – Sprinkler - BlocksÉcole des métiersInternal and external competition: no 22-6765-039Term full timeThe Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB) – Campus de Dieppe is seeking a qualified and dynamic person tofill a Sprinkler Block release training Instructor.EMPLOYMENT DESCRIPTION: As a member of the teaching team and under the supervision of the Associate Dean –Construction, the incumbent will:

  • Prepare, develop and teach courses related to the study program;
  • Supervise students and plan practical activities;
  • Collaborate with peers in their areas of competence;
  • Assume various tasks related to the promotion of the program;
  • Evaluate student progress while monitoring and mentoring students.
The 3-block release training are offered in English.REQUIREMENTS: Certified Red seal Sprinkler System Installer, and at least three (3) years of experience in the desired field.Must be a Canadian resident or hold a valid New Brunswick work permit.IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS: Fluency in spoken and written English and Functional French language skills. Applicantsmust also demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills and have a good record of performance andattendance. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is also required.Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, theminimum qualifications may be raised. The position will not necessarily be re-posted.
