Labourer Flat Roofing - Jobs in Dieppe, NB

Triforce Team Ltd. is seeking a full-time labourer to join its growing team.Roles and responsibilities but not limited to:

Unload materials from vehicle to job site, from pallets and or racks to designated area. • Move material on job site as requested from roofers when needed
Loads materials, tools and equipment into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Pick-up supplies from store or warehouse inventory when needed.
Dust and or shovel materials such as debris, snow/ice and discard to designated area. • Provide tools and materials to roofers. Make sure tools are in good working conditions. • Perform duties at a high standard of quality and workmanship is maintain at all time.
Follow safety company procedures at all time.
Wear safety gear as instructed per safety training and require on the job site.

Worksite and trucks

Keep vehicles organized and clean at all time not including cab.
Perform end of day inspect and clean up; roof garbage is pickup; tools are all stored in its appropriate area, remaining site material is fastened, and truck is organized for next working day.
At job completion, organize material, tools and equipment on trailer to be return to inventory. Secure items before transportation to warehouse then to inventory.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment at all times Other

Support roofers
Follow company policies at all times

Requirements

High School Diploma, G.E.D or equivalent.
1-3 years of direct work experience in a related field.
General knowledge of the tools and equipment
Ability to work at heights and on flat and inclined surface.
Ability to climb ladders and set up work requirements in a safe manner.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Drivers licence would be an asset. Working conditions
24/7 availability may be required including overtime
Travel to off-site locations is required
Working outdoors in various elements
Hazards associated with the trade
Physical ability to lift up to 80lbs
Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/ goggles, etc
