Job Description

  • Provide customer service to external and internal customers as it relates to PCL Freight
  • Enter pickups for all terminals in the country
  • Track and trace and assist with locating of missing freight
  • Provide correspondence and shipping reports to customers
  • Re-route product as per customers request · Pre-alert depots for hot freight
  • Request disposition on undeliverable freight · Contact customers for delivery refusals
  • Spot Quotes · Advise dispatch of cancellations
  • Answer transit time inquiries · Assist customer with our claims process
  • Assist Moncton Claims with document requests and inspection inquiries
  • Provide BOLS and PODS upon customer request
  • Liaison with beyond carriers for multiple issues
  • Advise operations and Quality Control of missed pickups All other duties assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years Customer Service experience
  • Customer focused with excellent phone presence
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills · Strong interpersonal skills ·
  • Strong Geography knowledge required
  • Ability to work independently or part of a team ·
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Must demonstrate a pleasant ‘can do’ attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills – ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills (MS office, excel, word, internet etc)
  • Bilingualism an asset · LTL experience an asset
