Coast Tire & Auto Service Ltd. has an opening in the Dieppe/ Moncton area for a Tire & Service Advisor. If you are a self-starter with experience in automotive and sales, we want to talk to you. Coast Tire is a leader in the tire industry and automotive aftermarket with locations throughout NB, NS and PEI. The successful candidate must be capable of working in a fast paced environment and previous experience is considered to be an asset. This is a full-time position.Qualifications include: · High School Diploma or experience in the field.· Previous sales experience in a retail environment; Tire & Automotive preferred.· Must be adaptable and possess excellent oral and communication skills.· Must have a positive attitude and an ability to utilize multiple computer programs in an organized manner.· Ability to prioritize multiple objectives; must be detail oriented.· Ability to work independently and with others; a strong team player with high energy.· Ability to provide information and recommendations to customers; based on manufacturer’s specs and technician recommendations.· Ability to complete and file all necessary paperwork.· Bilingualism is preferred and considered an asset, but it is not required.Main Job Duties include: · Communicate with customers and employees in a courteous and professional manner. (On telephone or in person)· Prepare customer work order. Be sure to collect and input all required customer information. Assign to technician.· Follow through with customers (beginning to end). This includes proper greeting, determining their needs, and ensuring all services are performed as per industry standard; complete customer invoice and book next service.· Ensure that any issues found on the initial inspection sheet are explained to the customer.· Ensure customer is always made aware of promotions and recommendations.· Communicate accordingly with Fleet Accounts and ensure customer satisfaction· Promote all services that Coast Tire can provide to the customer.· Ensure that the Quality Inspection Checklist has been completed by both the technician and yourself and attach it to the work order.· Ensure all wheel torque information has been recorded properly.· Ensure all paperwork is filled in properly and on a timely manner. This includes Adjustment Forms, National Account Forms, etc.· Ensure products and services are being charged out accordingly and that all recommendations have been reviewed with the customer. Maximize the opportunity with every customer.· Follow all Coast Tire policies & procedures with regards to Operations, Sales and Health & Safety.· Assist Manager by performing other requested tasks.· Perform any required training.If you are interested in working with a leader in the tire industry, please send us a copy of your resume.
