Job Description

The Fordia Powered by Epiroc team is looking for a rare gem who wants to play a central role in our team by combining inspiring projects and interdepartmental collaboration. If you are up for the challenge, wed love to hear from you!Scope of ResponsibilitiesPortfolio Management

  • Define the overall strategy for the Coring product portfolio and ensure its implementation within the organization
  • Analyse and review the portfolio annually to identify streamlining strategies and new development opportunities
  • Monitor the performance of the product portfolio, establish a development roadmap in relation to the evolution of ranges and opportunities
  • Ensure the overallprofitability of the entire portfolio
  • Maintain and communicate an annual portfolio calendar for the product lines under his/her responsibilities (planned Phase-In, Phase Out)
  • Perform the Portfolio overview presentations internally and externally
  • Maintain commercial documentation for the product line under his/her responsibilities
New Product Introductions
  • Execute the portfolio management (Phase In/Phase Out) for the product line under his/her responsibilities
  • Establish product positioning for the product lines under his/her responsibility
  • Actively support introductions of new products, ensuring communication and collaboration between different departments and different teams
  • Define the introduction strategy by markets (including the phase-out of products currently in the offer when necessary)
  • Lead product trainings and provide the necessary technical and commercial material to deploy the product strategy
  • Establish pricing strategies
Innovation & Development
  • Review new product sales each quarter (Product Committee)
  • Feed the Tech Watch Committee with market insights
  • Participate to the Technical workshops, suggests new ideas for his/her product line
  • Act as link between the sales team and engineering team
Processes
  • Maintain and create procedures for the PM department (Innovation process, New product requests, Phase-Out process, etc.)
Education, Skills and Experience
  • College or university degree in a field related to management, marketing, industrial design or other technical training
  • Strong product management skills (business case, portfolio review, past experience with product phase-in/phase-out, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the mining exploration market, specific expertise in core drilling will be considered a strong asset
  • International experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of SAP an asset
  • Excellent command of French and English, spoken and written (Spanish an asset)
