Location: National (1 position available; location flexible)Position Type: Full-time PermanentSummaryCombat Networks is looking for a full-time permanent Proposal Specialist to join our growing team. The Proposal Writer will report directly to the Sales Director and will be responsible for managing and contributing to RFP responses. As part of their role, the Proposal Writer is responsible for completing the standard boilerplate responses as part of all RFP responses.Primary ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the development, review, and editing, of corporate documents, including collaborating with the marketing team on written communication piecesTake the lead role in the completion of the boilerplate responses on all RFP documentsCoordinate the RFP response process by collecting and coordinating input from other technical and operational employees across the organizationIdentifying and addressing any areas of concern, or incompletenessReviewing all documents for completeness, accuracy and presentation of materialCritical thinking and proactive approach is required in order to respond to tight but fluid deadlines.Assist with the translation of documentation as neededEnsuring all RFP material is packaged in a professional mannerManage the central storage of RFP responses, solution information, and boilerplate materials, ensuring all information is kept up to date and accurateCreate and update templatesSkills & Experience RequiredRecent graduate of Business Communications, Communication Studies or JournalismFluently bilingual in French and English in written communicationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to write persuasive, engaging contentStrong organizational skills that demonstrate an attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslySuperior formatting ability in Microsoft OfficeFamiliarity with RFP tender cycle would be considered an assetWe are looking for candidates that are serious about their careers and hold a high level of enthusiasm for building a strong successful company, as we do.About CombatCombat Networks is a full-service provider and network integrator, specializing in comprehensive converged network solutions (voice, video and data networking) for the full lifecycle of clients’ communication needs.
