Job Description

Under the supervision of the Ramp Supervisor, the incumbent acts as a ramp agent. He/she performs the work of the ramp agent and provides a safe, professional, courteous and polite experience for passengers and crew members.Description of the main duties:

  • Greet passengers and crew members in a professional, courteous and respectful manner;
  • Respect at all times the application of safety rules on the ramp and in the hangar;
  • Prepare aircraft for flight and customer acceptance;
  • Guide aircraft during arrivals and departures, using hand signals;
  • Tow aircraft;
  • Refuel aircraft;
  • Load/unload;
  • Transport passengers/crew members;
  • Other related tasks.
Conditions
  • Available Monday to Sunday
  • 11-hour shift
  • Day shift or Night shift
Requirements
  • Must have a Canadian work permit at a minimum;
  • Valid driver #39;s license (class 5);
  • Class 3 driver’s license (an asset);
  • Hold an Airsidequot;D quot; Driver #39;s Licence (AVOP), or be prepared to obtain one within the first 3 months of employment;
  • Eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC);
  • Bilingual (French and English spoken);
  • Experience in aviation (an asset);
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Ability to work in different climatic conditions (hot and cold);
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs).
