St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a part-time (0.70 FTE) interim Gr 10 English, Social Studies, Learning Strategies and Phys. Ed teaching position at Holy Trinity Academy in Drayton Valley, Alberta. This position will begin as soon as possible and end June 30, 2023.Ability to assist in the schools co-curricular and extra-curricular programs would be considered an asset. Possessing a certificate in Catholic Education from St. Josephs College is an asset.The Town of Drayton Valley is located 90 minutes southwest of Edmonton, Alberta, three hours northwest of Calgary and 70 minutes from the Edmonton International Airport.Situated overlooking the North Saskatchewan River, the town offers a wonderful array of outdoor and indoor recreational activities. The town has a diversified economy including oil and gas, forestry, agriculture/ranching, environmental industries as well as trucking and construction.Holy Trinity Academy offers approximately 220 students, from grades 9 to 12, a well-rounded Christ-centered education.
