Job Description

WHAT TO EXPECTReporting to the Director of Logistics, VS and Inside Sales, the primary duties of this position will be:

  • Establish delivery dates for customer orders and follow up on them
  • Determine and follow up on the production plan for each of the molding and core-making lines
  • Determine and communicate labour requirements for the next few weeks
  • Print and distribute the necessary production documentation
  • Generate performance indicators (% of production plan completion)
  • Participate in cyclical counts and inventory updates in the system
  • Ensure that the ERP system is updated vs. production progress
  • Import production data
  • Proceed to the closing of production orders
  • Any other tasks deemed relevant
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • DEC or BAC in Operations Management/Industrial Engineering/Logistics or related experience
  • 2 - 4 years experience in a similar position
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Knowledge of the foundry industry is an asset
  • Sense of responsibility and autonomy
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to influence and communicate well
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite, ERP and knowledge of Syteline an asset
