Job available at Soucy Caoutchouc – DrummondvilleWHAT TO EXPECT With a keen interest in health, safetyamp; environment issues, we #39;re looking for the OHS enthusiast who can take charge of our various projects to meet the organizational OHS strategy. You will have to analyze, resolve, manage, get involved in and influence many facets of OHS in a manufacturing environment, all with the support of management. Here #39;s an overview of your tasks: Actively participate in the development of safety policies Promote the OHS culture within all operations and coordinate prevention activities Coordinate various health and safety projects targeted in the strategic and operational plan Implement a program to adapt to health and safety laws, standards and regulations and ensure that they are applied Be an active member of the Health and Safety Committee and participate in the implementation of committee activities and recommend initiatives Provide support during investigations and analysis of accidental events to identify root causes, corrective actions and follow-ups Participate in the development and implementation of performance indicators Perform, as a team, risk analyses of equipment and operations as well as ergonomic analyses, according to established priorities Support operations in health and safety training WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR DEC in environment, hygiene and safety at work or Certificate in health and safety at work or any other relevant training Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company Very good knowledge of the laws, regulations and standards in force Autonomy, the candidate is able to take charge of complete projects and ensure their follow-up Ability to manage several projects simultaneously Ability to create and maintain good relations with employees Good influencing skills, planning and analytical skills Good time and priority management Results-oriented and problem-solving WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER Permanent full-time position You #39;ll be joining a team that #39;s committed to solving day-to-day issues, but always in a pleasant work environment!
