Concrete Batcher - Jobs in Dryden, ON

As a Concrete Batcher, You Will:

Be responsible for accepting orders for concrete, shotcrete, and to batch as required
Inform drivers on mix requirements and oversee the dispatching/scheduling of the ready-mix trucks
Record information in order book for the cross-shift
Order materials for daily operations, record inventory, and orders so the information is available to all batchers
Code time sheets daily and enter in to excel spreadsheet
Enter the hours of service in the computer and send to the appropriate person monthly
Liaison between the customer and driver to ensure customer satisfaction
Grease plant, minor maintenance, and other duties as assigned by the manager and schedule plant repairs
When QC tech is not available, do a slump on shotcrete loads to maintain consistency on all loads
Maintain plan in accordance with the Environmental Compliance Approval including Best Management Practices Plan, Operations and Maintenance and Check Lists
Always ensure safe plant and delivery operations. Do a JHA meeting daily, and safety talks weekly
Train new drivers on proper procedures and supervisor drivers on shift

What Youll Bring:

Concrete experience and batching experience considered an asset
DZ license with experience driving commercial vehicles will be considered an asset
Supervision skills
OSSD High school graduate or equivalency
ACI Certification
Valid G licensed driver
