Job Description

Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton and the surrounding area. We are currently looking to hire an EXPERIENCED OPERATOR to run an asphalt recycler, soil stabilizing/mixing machines, for the 2025 construction season.We offer competitive wages with benefits.Primary duties include:

  • Using heavy equipment to pulverize asphalt, or stabilizing soil/clay to project specifications.
  • Experience with Wirtgen WR2000, WR2400, WR2500 preferred.
  • Working with other operators, and directing personnel on the ground, to make adjustments to achieve the right grade or mix for the construction project.
  • Performing regular pre-trip and preventative maintenance on machines.
This is a physically demanding position. Candidates must be physically fit – repetitive bending, lifting, kneeling, walking for long periods of time. Especially when changing teeth on equipment. Operators must also possess a valid Driver’s License (Class 5) and reliable transportation.Successful candidates will also be able to maintain a *safety-minded* and *high accountability* work culture when working with their direct supervisors, and other employees while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.*** Successful candidates must have a driving record free of major infractions, and must pass a medical/fitness exam, as conditions of employment. ***Pay Scale $28 - $35#PPLHP
