Apply today and make a difference in a place where your natural warmth and curiosity are celebrated!Procurement CoordinatorPosition Summary:The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for managing day-to-day purchasing activities with a focus on supporting our Calibration Lab. This includes sourcing materials, negotiating pricing and terms with vendors, managing relationships, coordinating with our inventory team on reorder levels (min/max), and handling ad hoc purchasing needs. This role plays a vital part in ensuring we maintain operational readiness while controlling costs.Key Responsibilities:· Source, evaluate, and procure materials, equipment, and services primarily for the Calibration Lab.· Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times with vendors to ensure best value and reliability.· Support centralized procurement processes and ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies.· Collaborate closely with the inventory and lab teams to maintain optimal stock levels (min/max) and avoid shortages or overstock.· Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders in a timely manner.· Track orders, monitor supplier performance, and expedite deliveries as needed.· Maintain and update supplier database, pricing records, and procurement documentation.· Manage ad hoc purchasing requests while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.· Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier consolidation.Qualifications:· 2+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience—ideally in a small or mid-sized business environment.· Experience procuring for technical or laboratory environments is an asset.· Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail· Experience in managing QBRs and Distribution Agreements· Working knowledge of inventory principles (min/max, reorder points).· Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is strongly preferred.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).· Strong communication and organizational skills.Why BHDBe a part something innovative and growing!
