The RoleAs a Contract Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and fostering strong customer relationships through effective business development strategies. Your responsibilities will encompass proactive engagement with home builders, demonstrating our unique value proposition to convert leads into loyal customers. You will maintain impeccable customer service standards, oversee sales operations, and ensure accurate documentation. Your expertise and industry knowledge will enable you to provide tailored solutions to clients while upholding our brand image.What you will be doing:1. Business Development and Relationship Management:
  • Identify potential business opportunities by monitoring building permits and staying informed about market trends.
  • Develop a robust lead base through various strategies, including networking, referrals, and industry connections.
  • Foster strong relationships with home builders, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Convert leads from competitors by presenting our unique value proposition.
  • Stay informed about competitors and organize annual showroom visits.
2. Sales Operations and Customer Service:
  • Achieve sales targets and maintain accurate sales order documentation.
  • Represent the company in contractual agreements with clients.
  • Manage and maintain orders, including stock ordering and proactive order management.
  • Provide daily updates to the Manager and assist with collections when necessary.
3. Professional Development and Technical Expertise:
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry advancements.
  • Provide technical assistance to fellow sales representatives.
  • Apply effective selling skills and construction knowledge to deliver high-quality service.
4. Consignments Management:
  • Ensure product presence and condition at sites.
  • Perform site inspections and prepare billing documentation.
  • Efficiently manage the consignment process.
5. Offsite Trade/Show Homes Management:
  • Visit offsite locations and maintain appliances.
  • Foster positive relationships with trade/show home providers.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation.
To be successful in this role you ideally have:
  • Sales Experience in a B2B context.
  • Strong Customer Service and Communication Skills.
  • Multitasking Skills with Attention to Detail.
  • Team Collaboration Proficiency.
  • Basic to Moderate Computer Proficiency.
  • Attention to Detail and Accuracy.
  • A valid drivers license and acceptable drivers abstract
