Job Description

Spirit Edmonton is looking to fill immediate opening as a full–time, permanent, Warehouse Worker, working with our Edmonton, AB warehouse client!What You’ll Do: Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Pick and pack products from the warehouse shelves onto pallets for internal and external customers according to the order sheets
  • Ensure all orders are checked for correct products and quantities. Report any discrepancies
  • Load and unload with the product as required
  • Prioritize your orders according to date, or expected date for urgent orders
  • Prepare paperwork as required such as order labelling, transfer document and racking tracker
  • Perform daily safety check of equipment for safe operation before using
  • Ensure all aisles are free from obstruction • Assisting team members as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
You will also be expected to…
  • Lift up to 50 lbs for up to 6-7 hours a day
  • Walk, bend, and kneel constantly throughout the day
  • Operate pallet jack and forklift
  • Work in a fast paced, busy warehouse
  • Have a strong attention to detail
  • Use a computer regularly
  • Follow all health and safety protocols
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience required
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license required
  • Must pass Criminal Record Check if needed
  • Forklift experience preferred but not a requirement
  • Computer experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, customer service, time management and organizational skills is required
  • Great teamwork and team-building skills
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Professional demeanor under stressful situations
  • Self-directed and self-motivated
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; and
  • Punctual, dependable, and reliable • Safety-conscious

Experience:
  • warehouse: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Class 5 Driver #39;s License and reliable vehicle to work (required)
