Start date: ASAP Job RequirementsJob Title Loader OperatorJob Summary Loader Operator is responsible for loading and unloading bulk solids, such as soil, sand, and wood products into or from trucks and trailers using material moving equipment. Other responsibilities include the performance of a variety of different tasks relating to the shipment of products.Core Competencies

Job Duties
  • Record operating data.
  • Operate loading and unloading equipment, conveyors, hoists, and other materials handling equipment
  • Verify truckload numbers and products to ensure accurate placement
  • Operate industrial trucks, tractors, loaders, and other equipment for the transport of materials between vehicles and loading docks
  • Store and retrieve materials in the warehouse
  • Adhere to all workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliance legislation
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Two years of experience as a Loader Operator
  • Experience with routine maintenance operations
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
  • Professional appearance and manners
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Work Conditions
  • 24/7 availability may be required
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lb
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
  • Overtime as required
  • Exposure to shop-floor and loading hazards
  • May be exposed to different manufacturing and yard site
