JOB OVERVIEWA Fabricator is responsible for readingamp; understanding schematics and blueprints and fabricating metal parts and structures per the customer request. As a Fabricator you are a key point in assisting the team. We are looking to add someone to our team who is brings maturity, years of expertise, willingness to learn, detail-orientated, takes pride in producing high quality standard, and is a team player. It is crucial that the Fabricator promote a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES§ Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed§ Quality control§ CWB welding tickets compliance § Layout (fitting)§ Use of brake, shear, Iron Worker and saw§ Welding to CWB standards § Fabrication of various jobs/projects§ Able to read blueprints/drawing/sketches§ Knowledge of GMP guidelines and practices § Conduct quality control checks§ Accurate and timely completion of all daily paperwork§ Always conduct oneself in a professional manner in alignment with Company values, including but not limited to language use, attire, and workmanship§ In accordance with company policy/ESA; overtime, work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the company §All other duties as assigned Requirements§ Completion of High School or equivalent § Metal Fabricator/Fitter 437A or equivalent § Previous 8-10 years of fabrication experience§ MIG welding experience along with CWB tickets§ You have a get it done attitude and are skilled at removing barriers§ You operate with a team spirit, not with ego; you want everyone, including yourself, to do their best work; you see your success as dependent on the success of the team§ You have the ability to think beyond the needs of the customer to point out errors and potential issues§ You are able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, cope effectively with complexity and change, quickly understand and absorb new information and respond appropriately§You are a straight shooter who gets to the point and can clearly communicate in both oral and written form
