JOB OVERVIEWThe Project Coordinator ensures Foremen have the equipment, materials, and resources (including personnel to execute customer projects).The Project Coordinator will ensure on-time and on-budget project completion, and overall customer satisfaction. It is crucial that our Project Coordinators promote a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES§ Ensure all work is completed on budget, on time, and in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards§ Work directly with Project Management, Field Crew, H amp;S, and Customers on the seamless execution of landed projects§ Work in a safe manneramp; adhere to all safety policiesamp; procedures§ Participate in weekly production meetings § Adhere to all Project Management policies and procedures§ Work with Field Services scheduler to request personnel for execution of Customer projects § For each assigned project site, manage day-to-day activities to ensure projects stay on schedule and on budget including:oIn coordination with Project Managers (if applicable) ensure Field crews have all the equipment, materials, and appropriately-skilled personnel to complete the projectoParticipate in Customer site meetings as requestedoVerify completion of proper H amp;S requirements and documentation under applicable Health and Safety legislationoAct as the point of contact between Customer and Foreman on project sites oEnsure project meets Company and Customer quality standardsoEnsure project sites are left clean and organizedoVerify completion of site documentation (e.g. SAT SiteDocs form)oIdentify and communicate project scope changes to Project Manager§ Identify bill of materials for install requirements§ Work closely with Purchasing to ensure correct materials are available to meet project timelines§ Gather all necessary project information and costs for the purposes of compiling and writing up change orders and out of scope work (extras)§ Provide mentorship, coaching and training to Foreman and Lead Hands as needed§ Always conduct oneself in a professional manner in alignment with Company values, including but not limited to language use, attire, and workmanship§ In accordance with Company policy and relevant employment legislation, overtime and work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the company§ All other duties as requiredRequirementsREQUIRED EXPERIENCEamp; QUALIFICATIONS§ Relevant trade certification§ Relevant industry work experience§ Experience leading a crew§ First Aid trained§ Demonstrated Project Management experience§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills§ Strong organizational, time and budget management skills§ Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously § Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office and AutoCAD True View§ Familiarity with ERP systems with preference for experience working with Microsoft NAV Dynamics§ Valid driver #39;s license and a clean driving record§ Licensed Journeyperson or post-secondary education with a background in mechanical design/installation or § Knowledge of the electrical industry and electrical design principles an asset§ Willing and able to travel to customer locations as needed
