Job Description

Position: Senior Financial AnalystLocation: 30 minutes NE of Elmira, ONSalary: $80,000 - $90,000 YearlyIndustry: Manufacturing / Finance/ Forecasting/ Budgeting Employment Term: Full Time / PermanentSchedule: Hybrid Rolesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting in developing and maintaining financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support key business decisions
  • Responsible for month-end activities such as analyzing journal entries, preparing financial reports, etc.
  • Conduct cost analysis to optimize operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement
  • Generate comprehensive financial reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators
  • Conduct variance analysis and communicate financial results with stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Implement best practices to ensure efficiency and accuracy in financial operations
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • Post Secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in a Financial Reporting position preferably in a manufacturing industry
  • CPA designation required (CA, CMA, CGA)
  • Strong experience with consolidations and financial reporting systems
  • Proficiency in Financial modeling and analysis tools
  • Experience using MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
