We are seeking individuals who show the true spirit of teamwork and a strong ethic of care to join our team.ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Continuing Care Assistant for a permanent full time position.The Magnolia - Enfield, NSLocated at 416 Highway #2, the Magnolia accommodates 71 residents. There are five cottages within the home with 12 to 15 individuals. Each resident has a single room with a private washroom. Each cottage has its own kitchen, dining room, living room, bathing suites and access to enclosed garden spaces.At the Magnolia, the Continuing Care Assistant has an enhanced role where she/he:Provides personal care.Facilitates recreation activities within the cottage.Prepares and serves meals to residents.Provides light housekeeping to the individual rooms and within the cottage.Assists residents with their laundry.QualificationsContinuing Care Assistant Certification (CCA)Able to communicate effectively with clients and families in a clear and effective manner that demonstrates respect, empathy and understanding.Strong assessment skillsAbility to work independently and problem solveA current and original copy Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check is requiredWork With UsRosecrest is offering an excellent place to work and a competitive compensation package.
