The Recon Manager will review, advise, and approve all vehicle repair evaluations to best benefit the organization.Key responsibilities:Manage every aspect of Nova Scotias Reconditioning departmentProvide feedback, training, and leadership to ensure that the Recon team has the necessary tools and resources to be successfulEnsure that the department is compliant with company policies and proceduresReview and analyze process workflow and resources to identify trends and process improvement opportunitiesLead and develop the workforce, including coaching, building team morale, and performance managementOversee workflow for damaged units, body estimates and determine if units are retail, wholesale or otherwiseAmend and streamline process implementation between the auto division and our third-party partnersCreate cost reduction while maintaining quality standardsDesired skills and abilities:Experience in management is strongly preferredExtensive knowledge of vehicle makes, models, costs, and valuesExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong leadership experience managing direct reportsWillingness to learn and work at all levels to support department goalsExpert analytical and problem-solving skillsAdaptable to organizational standards for vehicle assessmentExperience working in high-volume, high-pressure settingsAptitude for statistics and costing metricsHigh attention to detailThis is a truly exciting time to join Canada Drives and we are looking forward to doing great things together!
