Requisition ID: 320753Posting End Date: August 29, 2022City: Flin FlonSite: Shared HealthWork Location: Flin Flon General HospitalDepartment / Unit: Finance & PayrollUnion: ExemptAnticipated Start Date: ASAPFTE: 1.00Anticipated Shift: Days (Monday to Friday)Daily Hours Worked: 7.5Annual Base Hours: 1950Position will provide Payroll Administration for the Northern Health Region with preferred office location in the Flin Flon General HospitalShared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.Position OverviewWorks closely and in conjunction with the Regional Payroll Manager, Human Resources and the Scheduling Office to carry out functions to ensure that accurate and timely payroll information is processed.Experience

  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience working in a computerized payroll environment
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Completion of post-secondary education in office administration through a business school or college (combinations of education and experience may be considered)
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Completion of the Canadian Payroll Management Program an asset
Qualifications and Skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet
  • Accurate word processing at 40 words per minute (typing test will be required)
