Job Description

  • Hours: Based on a 40-hour work week (8 hours a day, Monday - Friday) with the potential of overtime as required.
  • Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
  • Health benefits and vacation pay offered.
  • This is a temporary position covering a maternity leave, with the potential for extension based on performance and business requirements.
  • Enter safety statistics.
  • Assist sites with document control.
  • Upkeep of registries. (ISN, Avetta, Comply Works)Create meeting agendas.
  • Chair monthly office meetings.
  • Interact and support the JHSC.
  • Upkeep HSE manuals.
  • Completing project bid prequalification information.
  • Creating project ERPs and Safety Plans.
  • Subcontractor pre-qualifications.
  • General administrative duties.
  • Experience with COR Auditing
Experience and Certification Requirements:
  • You have a minimum of two years of experience in an office HSE administration role.
  • Experience in upkeeping compliance in ISN, Avetta and ComplyWorks is required.
  • Proficient in various computer programs; Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint are required.
  • Project prequalification and document preparation is considered and asset.
  • You have a safety conscious attitude, are outgoing, and able to work with others in a team.
  • A Health and Safety Administrator certification is required.
  • Proficient English language skills required.
  • A reliable means of transportation is required.
