Pearson is listed on both the London and New York stockexchanges (UK: PSON; NYSE: PSO).ResponsibilitiesPearson VUE is seeking a Temporary part-time Test Administrator for our , Fredericton, NB, Canada location.We are currently looking for someone who will be available from June 21, 2024, until July 16, 2024.Starting pay is $16.75/hr.Schedule RequirementsOur ideal candidate demonstrates flexibility and teamwork.Available and willing to travel to other locations. This is strictly a part-time position and will remain as suchAbility to work 10 to 18 hours per week with an expectation to work more hours as neededEmployees must be available to work various shifts between the hours of 7 am to 6 pm variousshifts as scheduled, any day Monday through Friday. Saturday hours are 7 am to 6 pm.The Test Administrator position is responsible for providing a secure exam delivery andsuperior customer service in a comfortable friendly environment.Performs on-time site opening and closing proceduresUnderstands all testing proceduresChecks in examinees verify identification and explain the exam processMonitor examinees while testingMaintains a secure testing environmentCommunicates with internal technical support to investigate and fix technical issuesStrictly adheres to company policies using careful judgmentResponsible for maintaining a professional and clean testing center with light housekeepingdutiesArrive on time for all scheduled shiftsQualifications - ExternalOne year plus of customer service experience preferredA high school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor #39;s degree or equivalent businessexperience preferredStrong communication and customer service skills are a must, delivered with focusedattentiveness and moderate interactionMust be flexible in work hours and daysAbility to complete all tasks in a timely and efficient manner, and handle a reasonableamount of stressIntermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows applications, Internet, andemailAbility to operate a computer, fax, and telephoneAbility to lift to 20 lbs on occasion. Must have the ability to stand for extended periods oftime while escorting candidates back and forth, up to 50-100 times per scheduled shift, toand from the testing room. Must have the ability to sit for long periods of time. Must beable to bend, stoopamp; lift from a stooped position.Must be able to work in a quiet, focused environment and hear spoken words in softvoicesAbility to see names clearly on id cards and the computer screen.
