The Gananoque Inn & Spa is looking for a mature Maintenance/Laundry Worker in preparation for the summer season to fill this seasonal position.As an important division that ensures a smooth running operation, our maintenance staff take pride in performing their job in a timely and thorough manner as summers are extremely busy and challenging.You will be required to assure that all hotel guest rooms and main common areas are in working order. You will also be required to help make sure the grounds are impeccably maintained.You will be required to assist both guests and other staff to move heavy objects and luggage. This position will also require the candidate to work outside performing simple lawn care needs, gardening, sweeping, cleaning, etc., as well as assist housekeeping with bed sheets, stripping rooms, light laundry duties, etc. Shift work is necessary and you may be required to work days, weekends, nights and holidays. Basic skills with tools, plumbing and electrical are an asset but not required.
