Cardinal Health-Gananoque manufactures many life impacting medical devices that help our customers thrive in a changing world.We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in Gananoque for a 12-month maternity leave contract. Reporting directly to the QA Lab Supervisor, this position is responsible for the acceptance and rejection of manufactured product including the production of subassembly and finished products based on product specifications and procedures. The Quality Assurance Technician also supports testing for complaints, non-conformance investigations and changes to support production and the facility. The incumbent must be able to work the following schedule: 24/5, 8-hour shifts on a weekly rotation - MAD (midnight, afternoon and day).For more information on what it is like to work for us, please watch this video: Cardinal Health - WingsKey Responsibilities:Demonstrate knowledge of quality systems and approaches.Demonstrate an understanding of the relevant regulations, standards and operating procedures.Demonstrate ability to perform investigations / root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.Demonstrate an understanding of the requirements and has the ability to perform gap assessments to those requirements.Demonstrate an understanding of quality concepts such as: cost of quality, analytical metrics and / or statistics, trending, quality planning, validation, CAPA and problem solving.Work cross-functionally and has the ability to interpret the requirements as well as educate and influence others on those requirements.Qualifications:High School Diploma required.
